Our building has seen a lot of students pass through over the years. Inside, you’ll find laboratories that smell a bit like chemicals and classrooms with wooden benches that have been there forever. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets, but the stuff we have gets the job done. The staff is usually busy filing papers or setting up for the next practical session. Mysore can get quite warm, so we appreciate the shade from the trees outside when we take our breaks. Sometimes the students sit out on the steps during their lunch hour. It’s a simple routine we have. We show up, we do the lessons, and we make sure the labs are cleaned up at the end of the day. There’s no big fancy lobby here, just a regular entrance where everyone greets each other. It’s an honest place to study. We see the same faces every morning and it feels like a small community within Tilaknagar. People know the college by name around here because it’s been a fixture for a long time.
