Chanakya Vidyalaya

Chanakya Vidyalaya is located at No 70/3 in Kanakadasa Nagara. We are in the Dattagally 3rd Stage area of Mysore. It's right near the K B Junction and the Ring Road Circle. Because of the location, it’s quite easy for people to find us. Mysore is a city that values education and we try to fit into that culture. The school building is pretty standard for this area. We have kids from all the nearby blocks coming in every morning. You see them with their heavy bags walking towards the gate. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything. One day you might be teaching and the next you are helping fix a broken desk. We don't have a lot of red tape. If something needs doing, we just do it. The classrooms are bright enough and we keep them tidy. We focus on getting through the school year without too much trouble. We have the usual events like sports day and annual functions, but we keep them low-key. We don't spend a lot on decorations. We'd rather just have the kids enjoy themselves. It’s a decent place for a child to spend their day. We are just a local school in a growing part of Mysore. There’s nothing very special about the building, but the people inside make it what it is for the students.
