Genius Pu College

Our college is located on Bannur Road in the Alanahalli area. If you know where Deve Gowda Circle is, we are just a short distance from there. It’s a decent spot in Mysore, not too far out but away from the heaviest city noise. We have a building that serves its purpose. It has the classrooms, a small office area, and places for students to hang out between their lectures. We don’t have a massive campus with fountains or anything fancy like that. It’s just a place for Pre-University students to come and get their work done. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure everyone understands what’s being taught. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We aren't very formal about things, though we do expect the students to show up and try their best. Sometimes the weather in Mysore is so nice that it’s hard to stay inside, but we manage. We’ve got a small staff and we all know each other’s names. It’s a very personal sort of environment. We don't really go for big advertisements or polished brochures. Most of our students come from the local neighborhoods around Alanahalli. They just walk or bike over. It’s a very community-oriented place. We just keep things moving along, one semester at a time, without making a big deal out of it. It is just a regular part of life for us here on Bannur Road.
