Zero Degree Ice Cream Factory

Zero Degree Ice Cream Factory is based in Dahisar, inside Manish Tower near Jayachamaraja Road. We are in the Nitin Industries area, specifically Gala No 15, S. It’s a bit of an industrial vibe around here. The main thing you notice when you walk in is the cold. We have these big walk-in freezers that stay at sub-zero temperatures all the time. Outside in the sun, it’s boiling, but in here we often wear sweaters even in May. We spend our time mixing batches and checking the machines. Sometimes a pipe leaks or a motor makes a weird noise, and we have to stop and fix it ourselves. It’s a messy business, honestly. There’s sugar and milk spills that need cleaning up constantly. We aren’t a giant corporation. We’re just a bunch of people making ice cream in a small industrial unit. We don’t have fancy uniforms, just aprons and hairnets. Most days we are busy loading up the small refrigerated trucks that take the tubs out to shops. The sound of the compressors is always humming in the background, like a constant drone. It becomes like white noise after a while. We don’t spend much time on decorations or office stuff. Most of our space is taken up by the equipment and the storage crates. It’s loud, it’s cold, and there’s always something to wash, but it keeps us busy.
