Our business, Punjab Sindh Dairy Products Pvt. Ltd, is based at Ag-2 in the Cama Indl. Estate. This is right on Walbhatt Road in Mumbai. It’s an industrial neighborhood where everyone is busy doing their own thing. We handle a lot of dairy work here. The machines run almost all day and night. It’s a noisy environment, but you get used to the hum after a while. We have a small office tucked away where we keep track of the orders and the billing. It’s usually quite cluttered with stacks of paper and old files. We aren't the type of people who care about having a polished look. Our focus is on the production floor. Dealing with dairy means we have to be very careful with cleanliness and timing. It’s a lot of physical labor, and it gets pretty hot in here during the summer months. The delivery trucks are constantly coming and going from the estate. Sometimes the road outside gets completely blocked, which can be frustrating. We’ve got a good team of workers who know exactly what to do. We usually take our breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the city. We’ve been at this location for a long time, and we know all the shortcuts and the best places to get a quick snack. It’s a tough business but we are used to the pace. We just keep our heads down and work hard.
