Vadilal Dairy International Ltd.

We’re over here at Plot No. 24 on Gulmohar Road. It’s a decent spot in the Jvpd Scheme, not too loud most days but you get the usual traffic noise. The name Vadilal Dairy International Ltd. is what’s on the paperwork and the front of the place, though we usually just think of ourselves as the dairy folks on this block. It is a bit of a walk from the main crossing. The building itself, Shubhangan, has been here for a while now. Some days the morning air smells like the rain hitting the pavement, and other days it’s just the heat. We do not have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks and the equipment we need to get through the day. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up with the neighbors, but everyone knows Plot 24 so it finds its way back eventually. Working in the dairy business means early starts, so we see the sun come up over the rooftops quite a bit. It’s not a glamorous life, but it is ours. We have got the regular staff who have been coming here for years, and we all know the best spot nearby to grab a quick tea when the afternoon slump hits. The Gulmohar trees give some shade, which is nice in the summer months. It is just a regular office for a regular dairy company, trying to keep things moving along without too much fuss.
