Euro Foods is located over in Borivali West, in the Kastur Park area. We are in the Om Satya-Vinayak CHS, at number 24. Being in a cooperative housing society means we are right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It’s a nice place to work because it’s not as chaotic as the main market area, though it gets busy during the morning school run. We deal with food products, so there’s always someone checking inventory or talking to suppliers on the phone. The office is basically a converted flat, so it has a very lived-in feel to it. We have a small store room where we keep samples, and the smell of various spices or packaged goods often hangs in the air. We aren't trying to be a massive factory or anything; we just manage the distribution and sales from here. My desk is right by the window, which is great for seeing who is coming and going. We have a small team, and we usually end up talking about what we’re going to have for dinner while we work on the orders. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that, just a few of us making sure the food gets to where it needs to go. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
