Zep Engineering Works

You can find us at F-59 in the MIDC area of Ambad. It’s a typical industrial zone with lots of noise. There are factories and workshops all along this road. We have a shed where we do all our metalwork and repairs. It’s usually oily and smells like iron and smoke. We have a few lathes and some welding machines that run most of the day. My guys are usually covered in grease and soot by noon. We’ve been operating out of this unit for several years now. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it's where the real work gets done. We handle whatever jobs come through the door. Sometimes it’s a big batch of parts, other times it’s just someone needing a small fix for their machine. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just move the machines out of the way. We don't have a fancy office at all. Just a small desk in the corner with a computer for billing and some old files. We know most of the guys in the neighboring units. We help each other out with tools sometimes when someone is stuck. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense life. We work hard, take a lunch break under the tree outside, and then get back to it. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just fix things and make metal parts. It’s practical work for local people who need it.
