Vikas Engineering Enterprises

Our workshop is located in the Standard H.S.E. building at Bail Bazar. We are on Kale Marg in Kurla West. It is a very industrial part of the city and there are many other shops like ours nearby. We do a lot of engineering work, which means there is always grease and metal shavings everywhere. We don't have any fancy floors, just plain concrete that has seen a lot of use. We spend our days working on different machines and tools. It’s a lot of manual labor and our clothes are usually stained with oil by the end of the shift. The Bail Bazar area is very crowded and there is always something going on outside. We hear the shouts of the vendors and the sound of trucks all day long. Inside the shop, it is often quite hot, so we keep the big doors open to catch any breeze. We have a few old chairs where we sit when we take a break. We usually share some snacks that someone brings from the market. It is a simple life of making things and fixing what is broken. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People find us because they know we are here in Kurla and we do the work they need. We just keep our heads down and focus on the job at hand until it is time to close.
