Akshad Engineering Works

Akshad Engineering Works is located right by Gate No. 8 in Gaikwad Nagar, Malawani. It’s a busy part of Malhar West, and there’s always something moving outside our doors. Our workshop at 91/724-A isn't much to look at from the outside, but we have our machines set up just the way we like them. We do a lot of metalwork and small-scale engineering jobs for local businesses. Some days we are welding all afternoon, and other days we’re just sitting at the bench filing down edges or measuring parts. The sound of the grinder is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. It gets dusty, and the heat from the machines makes it a bit intense during the summer months. We’ve been in this spot for a while, so we know most of the people who work in the nearby units. We aren’t a big corporation with suits and meetings. Usually, it’s just us in our overalls trying to get the dimensions right on a project. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought it would because a tool breaks or the material isn't quite right. We just handle it as it comes. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. People stop by to chat or ask if we can fix a broken bracket. We usually say yes if we have the time.
