Zeeba Zalabia

We have been running things here at 302 Samarth Vaibhav for a while now. If you know the Lokhandwala Complex area in Andheri West, you know how busy it gets with all the cars and people walking around. Our little spot is right in the middle of that mess. Mostly we just focus on the Zeeba Zalabia and getting the dough right every morning. It's a sticky job and the kitchen gets pretty hot when the oil is going. There are days when the AC doesn't really help much but we just keep at it anyway. The tables aren't anything special and sometimes the chairs wobble a bit, but we try to keep the place clean enough for folks to sit. You can see the street from the window and watch the rickshaws go by while you eat. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure the orders go out and the sugar syrup is thick enough. Sometimes we run out of stuff early if the crowd is big, especially on weekends when Andheri gets really packed. It is just a simple place really. We are not trying to be some fancy restaurant or anything like that. We just like making the sweets and seeing people come in. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy here in Andheri.
