Yum Rum Balls

We are located on the 7th floor of Sunview Heights, over in Andheri East. Yum Rum Balls is where we spend our hours making treats. Being on the 7th floor is a bit different for a food business, but we make it work with the elevators. The kitchen gets pretty warm when the ovens are going, and the smell of chocolate and sugar usually fills the whole hallway. It’s not a storefront where you can just walk in and browse shelves; it’s more of a production space. We spend most of our time mixing, rolling, and packing things up for delivery. Sometimes we run out of ingredients unexpectedly and someone has to rush out to the market downstairs. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the busy streets of Andheri East. We’re just a small group of people who enjoy baking. We don't have uniforms or a fancy reception area. There are usually bowls soaking in the sink and flour on the floor by the end of the shift. We try to keep things organized, but when we have a lot of orders, it gets a bit chaotic in here. It’s a lot of manual work, standing on our feet all day, but seeing the finished trays at the end makes it feel alright. We just do our thing and hope people like the taste.
