Yatra Restaurant

We are located right on the ground floor of Blue Orchid City Centre. Being so close to Mumbai Central Station means things get pretty hectic around here most days. People are always coming and going from the trains, and they often stop in when they need a break from the noise. We started Yatra Restaurant because we saw how many travelers were looking for a decent place to sit down for a bit. It is not a very fancy place, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our mornings getting the kitchen ready for the lunch rush that usually hits around one. The street outside is always full of taxis and people walking, so you can definitely hear the city from inside. Most of us who work here live nearby in Mumbai Central, so we know the neighborhood quite well. We have some regulars who come in every single day, and then we see hundreds of new faces who are just passing through the city. Sometimes the rain makes things messy outside, but it stays dry in here. We just try to keep the tables clean and the food moving out fast. It is a lot of work running a place in this part of Mumbai, but we have a good rhythm going now. If you are ever near the station and just want a spot to sit, you will find us easily enough.
