Xocolatl Homemade Chocolates

We operate out of Chembur, specifically in Flat No D/61 at the Vitta Sanchay Society. Since we are located in a residential building, it does not feel like a typical shop at all. It is more like a home that happens to make a lot of chocolates. We started this because we liked making things by hand, and it just grew from there over time. Being in a housing society means we have to be mindful of our neighbors, so we try not to make too much noise during the day. The kitchen is where everything happens. We spend hours tempering chocolate and trying out different recipes to see what works best. It is not a perfect, sterile environment like a big company; it is a living space where real work happens. Sometimes the delivery guys get a bit confused trying to find the right wing, but most people eventually find us. We do not have a big sign outside or anything fancy. It is just us, working with what we have in our own space. Chembur has a nice, steady pace to it, and we like being based here. The neighbors sometimes stop by to see what we are making because the smell of chocolate tends to drift out into the hallway. We keep things simple and focus on small batches. It is a lot of trial and error, but that is how homemade stuff works.
