We handle the service and support side for Xerox India Ltd around here. Sharad is the main person you’ll be dealing with if you send a message to that Yahoo mail account. We spend most of our days out in the field, visiting different offices and fixing their machines. These copiers and printers can be pretty complicated, and they seem to break down at the worst times. We don’t have a big showroom or a fancy office for people to visit. Most of our work is done on-site, where the machines are. It’s a lot of technical troubleshooting and carrying around heavy parts and tools. We’ve been doing this for many years, so we’ve seen just about every kind of paper jam or mechanical failure you can imagine. We don’t have a polished marketing team. It’s just us trying to keep the equipment running so other businesses can get their work done. Sharad manages the schedule and tries to get back to everyone as fast as he can through the email. It’s a busy job and we’re often on the move from one place to another. We don't use any corporate jargon. We just focus on the task at hand. If a machine is down, we go and fix it.
