X.L.Marketing is located on the first floor of the Elcon Building. We are inside the Harichand Compound, which is a pretty well-known spot in Vikhroli West. If you're coming down LBS Marg, you just look for the Godrej petrol pump and we’re right near there. It’s a handy landmark for delivery drivers who always get lost around here. The compound has a lot of small workshops and offices like ours. It’s not the quietest place, but it works for what we do. We’ve been here long enough that we know the guys at the tea stall nearby. Inside, it’s mostly just a few rooms where we handle our marketing stuff and manage the stock. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy for that. We deal with various products that people need for their businesses. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes the monsoon makes the compound a bit muddy, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have a fancy website or a huge staff. It’s just us doing the day-to-day tasks. Most of our neighbors are also local businesses, so everyone knows everyone else. We start early and stay late when we have to. It’s a practical setup for us. No big corporate meetings, just regular work with regular people. We keep the windows open for air, even though the street noise from LBS Marg is constant.
