Worth Exports

We’ve been here at Building No. 125 on Bapu Khote Street for quite a while now. Getting up to the 4th floor every morning is a bit of a workout since the stairs are narrow and steep, but you eventually get used to it. Kalbadevi is always crowded and noisy, but that’s just how things are in this part of town. Worth Exports is basically just a few of us handling shipments and making sure things get where they need to go. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking lists of goods. The office isn't fancy at all, just some old desks, chairs, and a lot of paper files piled up in corners. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just wait it out or talk about what we are having for lunch. It’s a busy place with people always walking in and out from the street downstairs. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People mostly find us because they know someone who worked with us before. Our day starts early and usually ends whenever the last bit of paperwork is finished for the night. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months, but we have a couple of fans going to keep the air moving. There is a tea stall just around the corner that we visit way too often. It’s just a normal workplace.
