We are set up at number 12, Belwelkar Wadi on M G Road in Goregaon West. If you’re looking for us, we are directly opposite Vipul Jewellers, which is a pretty easy landmark for most people in the neighborhood. Our space is tucked away in the wadi, so it’s got that old-school Mumbai character. Woodcraft is our company, and we mainly focus on events and entertainment. The office is a bit cluttered with props and paperwork, but that’s just how we work. M G Road is always humming with noise and people, which we’ve grown used to over the years. We aren't really the type to have a polished corporate image. We’re more about the practical side of things—getting the sound system right, making sure the performers are on time, and handling the stage setup. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or visiting sites to see how much space we actually have to work with. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We’ve been in this spot for quite a bit of time now, so most of the local shopkeepers know us. We don’t go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on the job we have in front of us. Whether it’s a small party or a larger event, we just try to keep things organized so that nothing goes wrong at the last minute. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes and the work gets finished.
