Avon Lifestyle Products Pvt Ltd is over on Mahakali Road in Andheri East. We’re in the B/1-2 section of the estate there. It’s a pretty standard industrial estate vibe, nothing too crazy. We work on various lifestyle items, which means our warehouse is full of different products at any given time. Andheri East is always humming with activity, and our street is no different. We have a small office attached to the storage area where we handle the orders. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when new shipments come in, but we make it work. The staff here has been together for a few years, so we have a good rhythm. We don't have a fancy showroom; we mostly just focus on getting the products packed and sent to where they need to go. Sometimes the monsoon makes things a bit tricky with the deliveries, but that's just part of being in Mumbai. We grab tea from the stall at the corner every afternoon and talk about what needs to be done. It’s a simple business life here on Mahakali Road. We aren't doing big presentations or anything corporate like that. We just check the quality of what we have and make sure the boxes are labeled right. It’s a steady pace, and we like the neighborhood despite how crowded it gets during the rush. We’ve been in this unit for a long time and we know the shortcuts to avoid the worst traffic. It’s just a normal job for us.
