Wns has this office at 6A Anand Dham in Prabhat Colony. It’s right in Santacruz East, which is a pretty central part of Mumbai. We’ve been here for a bit, and it’s a typical office environment. We do a lot of data work and back-office tasks. Most of us spend the day at our desks with our headsets on or typing away at the screens. It can get pretty loud when everyone is on a call at the same time. The building is an older one, but it’s comfortable enough. We have a little break area where we drink too much coffee and talk about the cricket scores. Being in Prabhat Colony is handy because it’s close to the station, which makes the commute easier for most of the staff. We don't really have a polished way of talking about ourselves. We just do the work that our clients send over. Sometimes the deadlines are tight and we have to stay late, but that’s just how this kind of business is. We focus on getting the numbers right and making sure the reports are finished on time. We’re just regular people working a job in the city. There’s no secret to it. We show up, do our tasks, and try to have a laugh when we can. It’s a decent place to work and we know the local area quite well now. We’ve been here through many monsoons and heatwaves, and we just keep the work moving forward.
