Our place is in A/101 at the Golden Palace CHS. It’s inside the Lokhandwala Complex in Kandivali East. Mumbai 400101 is a big area, and this complex has a lot of families and other small offices. We spend our hours at our desks, mostly staring at computers. It’s a residential building, so it feels a bit more like a home than a cold office building. You can hear the kids playing outside in the afternoons sometimes. The office isn't very large. We have our computers set up and we just get to work. Dealing with global services means sometimes the hours are a bit strange because of the time zones. We drink a lot of coffee from the little machine in the corner. The building security knows us well by now since we are in and out at all hours. It’s not like the big corporate parks you see in other parts of the city. We have to deal with the usual Mumbai stuff, like the elevators being slow or the monsoon rain leaking near the window if we don't shut it tight. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It's a steady life here in Kandivali. We aren't trying to be anything flashy, just working hard. The desks are a bit close together, but we get along fine. Some of us have been here since the beginning and we just like the familiarity.
