Our office is tucked away in Sector 6 of Vashi, right in Row House S-7. It’s a bit different from those huge glass buildings you see in the IT parks. Being in a row house gives it a more relaxed feel, though we are definitely busy most of the time. Vashi is a great place to work because everything is close by, but our little corner is surprisingly calm. We do BPO work here, which mostly means we are on the phones or computers all day helping people out. It’s a small team usually. We’ve got a couple of desks squeezed in, and there is always someone making tea in the back. You won’t find any big signs or flashy lights out front. We just have our name on the door and we get to it. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside while we’re finishing up our shifts. It’s a very Navi Mumbai kind of setup. We like it because it doesn’t feel like a factory. We just handle the service side of things for the company and try to keep things organized. If you’re walking through Sector 6, you might not even realize we are a business at first. It’s just where we spend our nine-to-five. The space is a bit tight when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, which isn't a bad thing.
