Wiyo Travel

Wiyo Travel is based out of a small office on Tejpal Road, right here in St. Thomas Town. We are situated pretty conveniently next to the AC Market, which everyone knows. It’s a good spot because people come to the market and then stop by to ask us about tickets or trips. Our room is number 28765, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two people walk in at once. We have a couple of desks and a lot of brochures that are probably a bit out of date, but they look nice on the shelves. The air conditioning in the building works okay, which is a relief during the summer months. Most of the time, we are just sitting at our computers looking up flights or trying to fix someone's hotel booking. It's not a glamorous job, but we like talking to the neighbors about where they want to go for their holidays. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait around, so we just have some coffee and wait for it to come back. The street outside is always busy with people heading to the market, so there’s always something to look at through the window. We’ve been here for a while and the people in the other offices nearby are all friends of ours. It feels like a small community. We don’t do big fancy ads, we just help whoever walks through the door. We usually have a radio playing in the background quietly and there is always a stack of tea cups on the side table.
