This Wipro office is situated at 304A, Sagar Tarang, which is part of the Picnic Cottage area in Versova. It’s right in Andheri West, pin code 400061. It’s a bit different from the huge campuses Wipro has in other cities. This one feels a lot more like a residential neighborhood because it’s so close to the sea. You can almost feel the salt in the air when the wind blows right. Sagar Tarang is an older building, and being in a spot like Picnic Cottage gives it a bit of a relaxed vibe compared to the hectic traffic on the main Andheri roads. We’re up on the third floor. It’s not a place with a massive lobby or security guards everywhere. It’s more laid back. We come in, do our work, and usually head out for lunch at one of the small places around Versova. People often get confused thinking it’s a big corporate tower, but it’s just this flat converted into a working space. It works for us because it’s a lot quieter than the heart of the city. The building has that typical Mumbai look, where you can see the wear from the monsoon rains over the years. We don’t really do much to dress it up. It’s just a place to sit with a laptop and get things done. It’s simple, honest, and right by the coast, which makes the commute a bit better. There is no corporate polish here, just people doing their jobs.
