Wings Travel

We set up our office at 104 in the I Block of Kandivali West. It’s on the first floor and right opposite the railway station. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains all day long. It's a convenient spot for people who are commuting to stop in and ask about tickets or holiday packages. We have a lot of brochures scattered around, though some of them are a bit out of date. The space isn't very large, so when three or four people come in at once, it feels quite full. We try to help everyone out with their travel plans, whether it’s a bus to the next town or a flight somewhere far away. My brother and I run the place most days. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to apologize while the booking screen loads. We don't have any corporate uniforms or anything like that, we just wear what’s comfortable. Most of our day is spent looking at screens and talking on the phone with hotels. We’ve been in this building for several years now and we know the tea seller downstairs very well. It’s a busy little life we have here near the tracks. We just do our best to get people where they need to go.
