If you find yourself in Andheri East, you might pass our building in Marol Vijay Nagar. We are at E-4/12, which is right in the thick of things in Mumbai. This area is always moving, and so are we, I guess. We do a lot of work related to media and what’s happening on screens across the country. The office is a bit of a maze with all the desks and wires everywhere. It’s usually pretty loud with people talking over each other or the sound of various broadcasts in the background. We don't really have a quiet zone here. Lunch is usually whatever someone brought from home in their tiffin or something quick from a nearby shop. We’ve got a lot of people who have been here for years, and we all just know the routine. It’s not a very formal place at all. You’ll see people in jeans and sandals just trying to get through their daily tasks. The humidity in Marol can be pretty bad in the summer, so we rely on the fans a lot. We don’t put on a show for visitors or anything. If you come by, you’ll see us exactly as we are—just a bunch of people working on media schedules and data stuff. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we do here in this little corner of Mumbai, and it keeps us going.
