Western Trading Agency

Western Trading Agency is located at 310 Raj Bhavan, right on Mmgs Marg. If you know the Charni Road area well, we are the ones sitting directly opposite the Gokul Dham Restaurant. Sometimes the delicious smell of the food from across the street makes us very hungry long before it's actually time for a lunch break. Our office is in the Madhav Wadi section, which is a very busy part of the city filled with lots of old, interesting buildings. Inside our space, we have rows of grey filing cabinets and a few wooden desks that have seen much better days. There are always stacks of papers that need to be sorted and phone calls that need to be answered throughout the day. It’s not the most modern or fancy office, but it works perfectly for what we do here. We have a few old fans on the ceiling that creak quite a bit when they're turned on the highest setting. The windows look out onto the busy street, so we can see all the commuters rushing to and from the station. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, just a small group of us who have worked together for many years. Most mornings start with a bit of a struggle to find a good parking spot nearby. We usually eat our lunch at our desks while we talk about the news. It’s a steady life, just keeping up with the trading business.
