We started at the Kailash Industrial Complex in Vikhroli West some time ago. Being in units E 414 and 415 means we have a decent amount of space, but it’s an industrial area, so there is always noise from trucks and other units around us. Vikhroli is a busy place, and getting here in the morning is a bit of a struggle with the traffic, but you get used to it. The building itself is quite big, and sometimes people get lost looking for the E wing. We spend most of our days inside these walls working on things. It’s not a fancy office with a view, just a practical space where we can get stuff done. Some days the lift is slow, and we end up taking the stairs which is good exercise I guess. The light in the afternoon hits the windows in a specific way. We know the chai guy downstairs pretty well by now. It’s just a normal workplace. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and go home like everyone else in this part of Mumbai. Sometimes the rains make the complex a bit messy, but that’s just how it is here. Most of our neighbors are also busy with their own manufacturing or design work, so there’s a constant hum of activity that keeps us going. It is a solid place to be based if you don't mind the industrial vibe of the area.
