Hero Bags House

Hero Bags House is located at 16 Hari Masjid Bks Devshi Road. It’s right on Station Road in Govandi, which means there is never a quiet moment. If you know the area, you know how packed it gets with people coming off the trains and heading toward the market. Our shop is tucked into that busy stretch. The entrance is a bit narrow, and if you aren't looking for the number 16, you might just walk right past us. Inside, space is at a premium. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, mostly filled with materials and boxes. There’s a distinct smell of fabric and old thread that hangs in the air. We don’t have a fancy display window; instead, we just keep the doors open to let some air in from the street. The floor is worn down in the center from years of footsteps. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit on the steps and wait for it to come back on while watching the crowd on Devshi Road. It’s a humble place, honestly. We don’t spend money on decorations or shiny signs. The building itself is quite old and has its share of leaks when the rains are heavy, but we manage. It’s just our little corner of Govandi where we spend our days working and talking to the regulars who stop by.
