Our office is tucked away in the Oberoi Garden Estates, right in the B-3081/82 block. Being adjacent to Chandivali Studio means there’s always something happening nearby, though Andheri East is generally pretty packed anyway. We’ve stayed in this spot because it's central for the people who work here. Inside Western Industrial Applications, it looks like a typical workspace with desks pushed together and a few computers that have seen better days. We deal with industrial parts and technical bits that most people wouldn’t recognize on the street. It gets a little loud when the deliveries come through the back. Sometimes the elevators in the building take forever, so we end up taking the stairs. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Mumbai, just trying to do the work that needs doing. Usually, the phone rings more than we’d like, but that’s how the business goes. We have a small kitchen area where the kettle is always on. It's not a corporate showroom. It's a place where we figure out technical problems and talk to suppliers about shipping dates. Most of the guys have been here since the start. We know which neighbor in the estate makes the most noise and where to get the best snacks during the afternoon slump. It's a regular job in a regular part of town.
