Vynankatesh Engg. Works

You can find Vynankatesh Engg. Works over at Plot No-W-248 in the Ambad MIDC area. Being in the industrial zone means it’s always loud and there are trucks moving in and out constantly. We handle a lot of different engineering jobs, mostly small parts and repair work for bigger machines used in the factories nearby. Our shed is filled with lathes and drills that have seen better days but still run perfectly fine if you know how to talk to them. It is dusty and smells like oil, but that is the life of a workshop. We have been here for a while and have seen the industrial estate change quite a bit over the years. It’s not the kind of place where you come to sit and have tea, it’s where you come when something broke and needs fixing fast. We don’t really bother with fancy signs or anything. People just find us by the address or by word of mouth from other units. We work on whatever comes through the door, whether it's a single bolt or a whole frame that needs machining. Some days are slow and we just clean the tools, other days we are working late into the night under the tubelights. It is honest work and we take it as it comes. No big talk, just turning handles and measuring steel. That’s what we do here in Ambad.
