We are part of the Vodafone team here in Mumbai, specifically in the 400015 area. It’s a pretty standard office setup. Most of the time, we are busy dealing with network issues or customer accounts. Mumbai is a big city, and keeping everyone connected is a constant job. There’s always something happening. We have a lot of people coming in and out. It’s not like those shiny ads you see on TV. It’s mostly desks, computers, and people talking on headsets. We have been in Maharashtra for a long time. The office can get a bit hectic in the mornings when everyone arrives. We don’t really go for all that corporate talk. We just try to get the signal working right. Sometimes the rain messes things up and then it’s all hands on deck. We eat our lunch at our desks most days because there is so much to do. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have time for fancy mission statements. We just want the phones to work. Being in Mumbai means we are always on the move. We’ve got a mix of young staff and some who have been here for decades. It’s a real mix of people. We just do our bit to keep the city talking. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. It’s noisy and busy but we like it that way.
