Vira Foods

Vira Foods is over in Ghatkopar East. We are at Shop No 9 in Kailash Castle, V B. It’s a decent sized shop but we fill it up with a lot of items. We sell all kinds of food stuff that people need for their homes. Most of our day is spent unpacking boxes and putting things on shelves. It’s a lot of lifting. We try to keep things organized so customers can find what they need without asking too much. The neighborhood is mostly families. We see the same people every week doing their grocery shopping. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on being here when people need us. The shop stays cool inside even when it’s boiling outside. That’s nice for us. Sometimes we have a chat with the regulars about the weather or local news. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We open up in the morning and close late at night. There is always something to do, like checking expiration dates or sweeping the floor. It’s just a standard food shop in Ghatkopar. We’ve been in this building for quite a while. We know the other shop owners nearby. It’s a good community to be a part of. We just do our work and go home at the end of the day. It is a simple job but it pays the bills for our family.
