We’ve been at Shop No 17 in Balaji Arcade for a while now. It’s right there on Laxmi Road in Kandivali West. Most days it’s just us handling phone calls and writing down bookings for various trips. People come in to ask about cars or how to get to certain places for their holidays. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and schedules. The arcade gets pretty busy in the evenings with everyone walking past. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic with the traffic outside on the main road, but that’s just how it is here. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs a vehicle, we check what’s available and let them know. It’s not a huge office, just a practical space where we can sit and get the work done. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. Some folks just stop by to say hello while they’re out shopping. The walls have a few old calendars on them. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next person to walk through the door. It’s a steady kind of life, making sure people get where they need to go without too much trouble. We don’t really do fancy stuff here. It’s just about keeping the cars moving and the books updated. Sometimes the rain makes things slow down, but mostly it’s just the usual routine of day-to-day travel work in Kandivali.
