Vikrant Oil & Provision Stores

We've been here on Tilak Road for a while now. People mostly know us as the place to get their oils and basic groceries when they're passing through Rajawadi Shankar Nagar. It’s just a regular store, nothing fancy. We keep the shelves stocked with what people usually need for their kitchens day to day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the mornings when everyone is trying to get their stuff before work, but we try to keep things moving. The shop at number 24 has seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. We handle a bit of everything, from cooking oils to the small provision items you forget to buy at the big markets. It’s mostly just us working here, trying to make sure we have enough stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks just know where we are because they live nearby or walk past on their way home. It’s a busy street and there’s always something going on outside with the traffic and the noise. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the prices are fair for everyone. Sometimes we run out of specific brands, but we usually have an alternative sitting on the shelf somewhere. It's a simple way to make a living and keep the community fed with the basics they need every single day. We open early most days because that’s when the milk and bread deliveries come in, and we stay until the evening rush finally dies down. It's just honest work for us.
