Vikas Engineers Works

Vikas Engineers Works is based at 16/A in the Satyam Industrial Estate. We are right on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Jogeshwari East, directly opposite where Pioneer Industries sits. It’s a good spot for a workshop because everything we need is nearby. We do a lot of heavy lifting and metalwork here. The space is filled with lathes and drills that have seen many years of use. It smells like machine oil and cold steel most mornings. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that; we just show up and do the jobs people bring us. Usually, it's local factories or smaller shops needing parts repaired or custom bits made. The road outside is always packed with trucks, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We’ve got a small mezzanine where we keep the paperwork, but most of the action is on the ground floor. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, given the nature of the work, but we know where every nut and bolt is kept. We tend to eat our lunch together on the back bench before getting back to the machines. Being in Jogeshwari East means we see a lot of the same industrial neighbors every day. It’s a steady life of measuring, cutting, and fixing things that need to work properly. The rattle of the nearby trains is something we’ve stopped noticing after all these years. It’s just the way things are here. We keep a pot of tea going.
