Vikas Engineering Corporation

Vikas Engineering Corporation is based in Andheri East, right in the Manekbaug Society at number 22. It is a bit of a different vibe being in a society rather than a huge industrial park, but it works for us. The space is basically a converted area where we have set up our engineering gear. It is a bit cramped with all the desks and the equipment we have gathered over the years. Andheri East is always moving fast, so there is a lot of energy just outside the door of number 22. We have got a small crew, and everyone knows each other’s business. There isn't any corporate ladder here, just people trying to get things done. Sometimes the neighbors complain if we make too much noise, so we try to keep the heavy stuff for the middle of the day. The office doesn't have air conditioning in every room, so we use a lot of fans when it gets hot in Mumbai. We handle various engineering tasks, mostly stuff that people bring to us because they know we are right here in Manekbaug. We do not spend money on advertising or anything like that. Usually, people just find us through word of mouth or by walking past the society. It is a modest way to run a business, but it has been our home for a long time and we like it here.
