You can find Vijay Engineering & Machinery Co. over in the Fort area. We are located in Shariff House, right on Shahid Bhagat Singh Road at number 74. It’s an old building, but it holds up well enough for what we need. Dealing with machinery means things can get a bit greasy sometimes. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a steady one. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. We know the machines inside and out. It’s loud out on the street with all the traffic in Fort, but inside we just focus on the engineering side of things. There’s always someone coming by asking about parts or repairs. We don't have a fancy reception area. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us near the back. Life in this part of town is fast, but we try to keep a rhythm. It’s about getting the job done without too much fuss. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go on this road. We’re still here though. We handle the day-to-day stuff and keep the inventory organized. It gets hot in the summer, especially with the machinery running, but we make do. We aren't doing anything revolutionary. We just provide what people ask for when it comes to mechanical stuff. It’s simple, really. Just hard work in a historic part of the city. We keep the doors open and the lights on for anyone who needs us.
