We are based in Kalachowki, right on G.D Ambekar Road. Our office is in the Abhilasha Shramik CHS building, room D-609. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always noise from the street and people coming and going. The building itself is a typical housing society, so our office feels very much like part of the neighborhood. We handle reality and property matters, which means a lot of people dropping by with questions about buildings or looking for paperwork. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit cluttered when we have a lot of files to go through. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that work overtime during the humid months. Our day usually starts with checking messages and then it’s a lot of running around or sitting at the desk dealing with the local authorities. We don't have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from someone else. It's a very hands-on kind of job. Sometimes we have deal with difficult situations, but we just take it one day at a time. The team is just a few of us who grew up around here, so we know the streets pretty well. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help people with their housing stuff and earn a living. It gets tiring but we've been doing it for years now and it’s what we know.
