Smart Group

Borivali is a huge place and it’s always moving. We are based right here in the middle of it. If you’ve ever been to Borivali station during rush hour, you know the kind of energy we are surrounded by. Smart Group operates out of a modest space here. It’s not one of those tall glass towers. It’s just a regular office in a local building. We like it here because everything is close by. You have the markets, the food stalls, and the people everywhere. The noise of the rickshaws is like background music to our daily work. We don't have a massive team or a glossy brochure. We are just a group of people who know the local area well and work from this suburb. Some days are slow and we spend time chatting with the shopkeepers next door. Other days are a total scramble. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our desks, some old cupboards for files, and a very busy phone line. Borivali has its own rhythm, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. We don't see the need to move to a fancy business district. Being in the heart of a residential suburb keeps us grounded. It’s practical, it’s a bit messy sometimes, and it’s definitely not corporate. It’s just us doing our thing in our corner of North Mumbai. We usually get lunch from the local mess around the corner.
