Even though our name says Oberoi Mall Pvt Ltd, you won’t find us in a big shopping center. We are actually located at 6, Maniram Niwas in Lokmanya Nagar. This is over in Bhandup West, on Sanman Singh Road. It’s a busy neighborhood in Mumbai, and our office is right in the middle of it. We handle a lot of the administrative and management side of the business from this location. It’s a practical workspace, nothing like the polished floors of a mall. We spend a lot of time on our computers and dealing with various vendors and staff issues that crop up. Bhandup is a bit of a commute for some of us, but we’ve made this spot our base. The building, Maniram Niwas, has been here for years. It’s got that old Mumbai feel to it. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit tricky to get down Sanman Singh Road, but that’s just how it goes here. We aren't doing any fancy marketing or anything like that. We’re just the people who make sure the behind-the-scenes stuff for the company gets handled. There’s always a lot of paperwork and phone calls to deal with. We just keep our heads down and work through the list every day. It’s a real, working office where we try to stay organized despite the chaos of the city outside our windows. It's just us doing our daily jobs in a fairly old building.
