Our office is up on the second floor of Hemu Plaza, which is right on D J Road in Vile Parle West. It’s a decent enough building, though the elevator can be a bit temperamental sometimes, so most of us just take the stairs to reach room 202. Hirco Developments is what we do here, mostly focusing on the various projects around the city. Vile Parle is a good area, plenty of places to grab a quick snack during lunch breaks. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and construction plans spread out over the big tables. It’s usually pretty quiet inside, except when the phones start ringing all at once. We’ve got a small team here, and everyone knows their business. We don't really do the big corporate meetings with fancy slides; we just talk over tea and figure out what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes clients come in looking a bit lost in the hallway, so we have to go out and wave them in. The windows look out over the street, and you can see the shoppers and the traffic piling up below. It’s a practical workspace, nothing too flashy, just a place where we put in our hours and try to keep the developments moving along as they should. We've been at this address for a bit now, and the whole place feels like home to us.
