Vidya Tours & Travels

Our shop is over in Goregaon West, right in Sultan Market. It’s pretty easy to find us if you’re near the Jawahar Nagar rail crossing. You can usually hear the trains going by all day, which makes it hard to talk on the phone sometimes. We have a lot of maps and old posters on the walls here at Vidya Tours & Travels. It’s a small space, mostly just two desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk about bus tickets or train bookings. The market outside is always crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We’ve been at 175 Goregaon West for several years now. Most of our day is spent looking at schedules and trying to figure out the best way to get people from one place to another. We drink a lot of chai from the stall around the corner. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three people come in at once wanting different things, but we manage. We don’t have a big corporate office or a fancy website that works perfectly. We just use our old computers and write things down in our ledgers. It’s a basic setup. The ceiling fan makes a clicking noise, but we don't really notice it anymore. We just keep doing what we do every day, helping folks get their travel sorted out. There is always something to do, and the day goes by fast with the noise of the crossing nearby.
