Victoria Bakers & Confectioners Llp is tucked away in Juhu Koliwada, near Santacruz West. You can find us at T-23 on H.B. Gawde Marg. It’s an old part of Mumbai and we like the vibe here. Our day starts really early, usually before the sun is even up, because that’s when the baking needs to happen. The smell of flour and sugar is basically always there. We aren't a big factory or anything. It’s just a local bakery spot where we handle all the dough and ovens ourselves. Sometimes the ovens act up or we run out of something last minute, but that’s just how it goes in a small business. We’ve got a small team that has been with us for a bit. We mostly focus on bread and some sweets that people in the area like. The address at 400049 has been our home for a while now. It’s a bit crowded in the workspace especially when we have a lot of trays coming out, but we make it work. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing fancy paperwork. Most of our time is spent with our hands in flour. It’s a messy job but someone has to do it. We like being part of the Santacruz community. It’s just a normal bakery life, nothing more to it than that. We just focus on getting the baking done right every single morning.
