Venjara E Salemohamed & Son is located at 81-D, Lehri House, right on Mohammedali Road. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. Our building, Lehri House, has been around for quite a while. We operate from here and the walls probably have a lot of stories to tell. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there is a lot of history in how we do things. We don't have a polished corporate office. It’s more of a traditional setup with wooden desks and lots of ledgers. The noise from Mohammedali Road never really stops, but we’ve learned to work through it. We spend our days talking to people and managing the inventory we keep. It’s a hands-on job. We don’t have those long, fancy mission statements you see in brochures. We just think about showing up and being honest with the people we deal with. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer, and the old fans just move the warm air around, but we keep going. It’s a busy place and we are usually on our feet most of the day. We’ve seen the street change a lot over the years, but our spot in Lehri House stays pretty much the same. It is a bit worn down but it is where we do our business and we are quite content with that.
