Vedant Rent A Car

You can find us at Room No 11 in the Srinivas Society in Ghatkopar West. It’s a small office, more of a room really, which is why we call it our H O. Vedant Rent A Car is what we do. We have a small fleet of cars that we keep parked in the nearby lanes. Most of our work involves setting up rides for people who need to go to the airport or take a trip out of the city for a few days. My uncle started this with just one car, and we’ve slowly added a few more over the years. It’s not a glamorous business. We spend a lot of time cleaning the interiors and making sure the engines are running okay. Ghatkopar traffic can be a nightmare, so we are always checking the GPS to tell our drivers which way to go. We don't have a big fancy storefront with neon signs. Most people just call us or walk into the society and ask for the car guys. We know most of the people around here, and they know they can come to us if they need a vehicle at the last minute. We don't use much corporate talk; we just tell you the price and make sure the driver shows up on time. It’s a simple way to run things, and it keeps us connected to the community here. There is always someone coming or going from the society, so we stay pretty busy most weeks.
