Ved Voyages

We run our travel business out of the Gurukripa Building over on Malabarhill Road in Mulund West. It’s a quiet enough spot in Mulund Colony, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on complicated flight itineraries or visa paperwork. Ved Voyages started because we just liked the idea of helping people get from one place to another without all the stress that usually comes with it. Our office at No. 16 isn't very large, but it's got everything we need to look up destinations and find the best routes. We spend hours looking at screens, comparing dates, and talking to people about where they want to go for their holidays or business trips. It’s not always glamorous like the pictures in the brochures. A lot of it is just staying on hold with airlines or trying to figure out why a booking isn't going through on the system. We’ve got a couple of old desks and some travel posters that are probably a bit out of date now, but it feels like home to us. Residents from the colony often drop in just to ask a quick question about a train or a flight. We don't have a big corporate strategy; we just take each booking as it comes and try to make sure everything is in order before the traveler actually leaves their house.
