Vasant Tours & Travels is right in the thick of things in Dadar West. Our office is in Parekh Mahal, which is an old building with a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a workout. We are situated right across from Raja Rani Travels, so there are always people around looking to go somewhere. The street outside is usually packed with people heading to the station or browsing the nearby shops. Inside our space, the walls are decorated with old maps and a few calendars that are sometimes a month behind. We spend most of our time on the phones or typing away at keyboards that have seen better days. It is a busy environment, and there is always someone coming in to ask about bus timings or train schedules. We don't have a fancy lounge for people to wait in, just a few plastic chairs that do the job. My desk is usually covered in notebooks and loose pens. We aren't part of some giant chain; we’re just a local business that’s been in Dadar for a long time. The tea from the corner stall is what keeps us going through the afternoon rush. It gets pretty noisy with the traffic and the crowds outside, but we don't mind it much anymore. It’s just the way life is here in this part of the city. We try to keep things simple and just help people get where they need to go without any extra fuss or fancy talk.
