Varsha Rani Tours & Travels is tucked away in Tony Compound, right near Gautam Nagar. We’ve been helping people get where they need to go for quite a bit of time now. Whether it’s a trip back to someone's village or a short visit somewhere else for a wedding, we handle the bookings. Our office is small and simple. We have a couple of desks and some old chairs for people to sit while they wait for their tickets. It gets a bit hectic when holiday seasons come around because everyone wants to travel at the same time. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking bus timings or train schedules. It’s a lot of coordination work and sometimes things get confusing with the delays. We know the locals around Gautam Nagar well, and they usually just drop by instead of calling us up. We don't have a fancy website with lots of buttons. We prefer talking to people face to face to make sure everything is clear. Sometimes the internet connections are slow, and it takes a while to get a ticket confirmed, but we stay patient. Working in Tony Compound means we see all sorts of people every day. It’s a lively place to be. We just try to make sure people get their tickets and don't have too much trouble with their journeys. It’s about being useful to the community around us. We aren't a big corporate travel agency. We are just a local shop doing our best to help people move around. Every day is a little bit different.
