You can find us at Shop No 4, inside the Patange Stores building at the Jam Mill Compound. We are right on Dr Ambedkar Road in Lal Baug, which is a really famous part of Mumbai. If you know the area, we are basically opposite the Lalbaug Police Chowki. It’s a busy place, especially during the festival seasons when the whole street gets packed with people. Our shop is small but it’s right in the middle of all the action. The compound has a lot of history, and you can feel that when you walk in. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, just doing our daily work. It’s loud outside with all the traffic and the police sirens every now and then, but we’re used to it. Inside, we just focus on what needs to be finished. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how things work. Sometimes we’re out on the road more than we are in the shop, but this is our main base. It’s a practical spot because everyone knows Lal Baug. We don’t have fancy furniture or high-tech stuff everywhere, just the basics. It’s an old-school Mumbai workspace. People drop in to talk about their plans, and we just listen and see what can be done. It’s honest work and we’ve lived in this city long enough to know how to navigate the chaos. Sometimes the tea stall next door is our favorite meeting spot.
